Biography

Mine G. Kirikkanat was born in Ankara. She is a graduate of Notre Dame de Sion in Istanbul. She received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Sociology in the Faculty of Letters at Istanbul University.

She started her career as a reporter for Cumhuriyet newspaper in Spain, and went on to work for Milliyet newspaper in France. She also worked at Radikal newspaper.

Kirikkanat is one of the foreign journalists working for TV 5 Monde Channel. She has written short stories, essays, travel books, and novels. She lives and works in Istanbul.
