Bulent Başol is a technologist. He has been a founder/co-founder/Chief Technology Officer of several high tech startup companies in California developing new technologies in the fields of solar energy and semiconductors. Bulent has been active in Turkish-American organizations for many years. He served as a Board member and President of organizations such as American Turkish Association of Southern California, Assembly of Turkish American Associations and Turkish American Scientists and Scholars Association. He has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Bogazici University- Istanbul and a PhD in Electronics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has been living in California for more than 40 years.
