John Yackley is a senior options trader at ARB Trading Group, a proprietary trading firm with offices all over the world. He primarily trades multi-legged S&P 500 options spreads.

John also continues to have some limited responsibilities as TMA Trading Group's Chief Operating Officer. TMA Trading is an order execution brokerage firm that was previously located on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

In the past, he has run his own investment management company, Be Free Investments. Like his present approach to the markets, Be Free’s main strategy captured most of its returns through volatility arbitrage.

He has lived and worked abroad and still travels to Europe frequently. He speaks fluent German and Turkish and has spent several years of his childhood in Germany and Turkey.

As a professional, he worked in Ireland where he was a director at a proprietary trading firm that also ran a client trading desk for US and European financial markets.
