Cagla Bekbolet, based in London, has spent much of her professional life at the intersection of finance and consumer products.

She leads Egon Zehnder’s London Office and is a trusted advisor to CFOs and some of the largest fast-moving consumer goods companies around the world. Cagla is also active in the firm’s Board Consulting Practice and has worked on many global searches for chairmen and non-executive directors, in particular audit committee chairs, in numerous industries.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Cagla was an Engagement Manager with Monitor, where she advised clients in the US and Europe on corporate strategy and transactions. She began her career in equity research and covered the Turkish market as part of the Emerging Markets team at BT Alex Brown in London and at FinansBank in Turkey.

This is when she developed an interest in people and great leadership. Cagla has always had a passion for travel and new experiences. Proud of her Turkish heritage, she has enjoyed the opportunity to work across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia throughout her career.

Cagla earned a master’s in finance from London Business School and a BA in business from Bosphorus University in Istanbul.
